These terms govern your visit and any bookings made with The Bays. By making a booking you accept them. This page is maintained by The Bays and is not legal advice.
The operator
The Bays is operated by Sobo Bays Limited, registered office 7 Portman Terrace, Southbourne, Dorset, BH5 2HL, company number 17203917.
Bookings & payment
Bookings are subject to availability and our Booking & Refund Policy. Bays are held for 10 minutes pending payment. Prices include VAT.
Age policy
Under-18s are welcome until 8pm with an accompanying adult. After 8pm the venue is strictly 18+ and photo ID may be requested under the Challenge 25 scheme.
Behaviour & right to refuse service
We operate a zero-tolerance policy on abuse of staff or other guests. Management may refuse entry or end a session without refund where behaviour, intoxication or safety risk requires it.
Dress code & footwear
Smart casual throughout the venue. Suitable footwear is required in the bays — flat, closed-toe shoes or trainers. No heels, no studded/spiked footwear, no bare feet. This is for your safety and to protect the simulator flooring; management may ask you to change or leave the bay if footwear is unsuitable.
Equipment & venue use
Bays, screens and equipment must be used as instructed. You are responsible for damage caused by misuse or wilful behaviour. Please keep drinks away from technical equipment.
Allergens & food safety
Allergen information is available for every dish — please tell your host before ordering. We handle the 14 regulated allergens in our kitchen and cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.
Licensing
The Bays has been granted a premises licence for the sale of alcohol under the Licensing Act 2003. Premises licence number: BH238792.
Gift vouchers & membership credit
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, non-refundable, and not exchangeable for cash. Membership top-up bonuses are credited at the tier in force at the time of load and are non-transferable.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of the booking. Personal belongings are left at your own risk.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
